I was born in Ukraine, and for the last 11 years, New York has been home. Back in my home country, I was fortunate to study film. The knowledge I received has stuck with me — the way it captures light, emotion, and the spaces between moments. Though it didn’t become my career, it shaped how I see now as a photographer.

I found photography in 2020, or maybe it found me. Film taught me composition — how to wait, how to frame silence, how to trust that the moment will fill it. That patience still guides me.

I work primarily on digital now, but I still reach for film when the story asks for its grain and depth. Cinema taught me to watch for light. Music taught me to feel timing. I’m here for the in-between: the hand you reach for without thinking, the laugh that breaks mid-sentence, the quiet that says everything.

I don’t pose stories. I witness them. Intimate, emotive, a little unfiltered — images that feel like memory, made to be held onto long after the moment passes.
